With all that went on over the past 3 years and everything constantly changing we are glad to be back to running classes in a more predictable fashion! Now we feel we can plan again and are able to write a newsletter to you to update you on our plans.
We are back to running classes both in Ayr, near Glasgow, Scotland and London and have now had 3 international instructors back in to teach with us. Please find our latest class schedule at the end of this email that runs until the end of 2024. You will see we have fantastic learning opportunities coming up over the next 2 years, wherever you are in the curriculum. Teacher News!
We are delighted to have a 3rd UK teacher! Kirstie Cousins qualified as a VM1 instructor this summer and taught her first class in Tokyo in December – nothing like kicking off in style! Well done Kirstie. Our instructors regularly travel internationally, with Alex Fugallo being in Denmark and Finland on recent teaching trips. Here is a picture of Kirstie with the recent VM1 she taught in London.
Visceral Manipulation Curriculum
We run the visceral programme on an ongoing basis, with regular VM1 and 2s. This year we have both VM3 and 4 and then in 2024 VM5 and 6. VM6 only comes around every 5 years or so, so if you are on the visceral curriculum and hoping to work through to VM6 it is a great opportunity to catch it in September 2024.
Neural Manipulation Curriculum
The Neural Manipulation programme is running on an ongoing basis. We are lucky to have our own excellent teacher Alex Fugallo for NM1-3 and then we bring instructors in for higher levels. In 2023 we have an NM4 (cranial nerves) and are following that up with NM5 in 2024. So if you are on the curriculum it is a great opportunity to catch those two classes in the UK. It is likely to be a good few years before they return!
2024 - an exciting year for higher level classes!
2024 has become a busy year for higher level classes. We are honoured to be welcoming Jean-Pierre Barral (developer of VM), Alain Croibier (co-developer of VM) and Gail Weztler (Director of the Curriculum for the Barral Institute) back to the UK. Jean-Pierre will be here to teach his brand new Brain 3 class, while Alain Croibier is teaching the new Advanced Manual Articular class and NM5. Gail Wetzler is bringing her Concussion programme for its European premier and also teaching a one day Gynaecological VM class. And to top it all off we also have Mark Bloemberg for VM6 in addition the first ever London VM5. Be sure to register soon if you are interested – they are all filling up already!
Manual Articular Spine and Pelvis and Listening Return
We are delighted that we have Manual Articular Spine and Pelvis running in November in Ayr this year with the brilliant Dutch instructor Mark Bloemberg. This class has been postponed due to the pandemic but we are excited that it will kick off our Manual Articular classes again. We are working on scheduling the other two Manual Articular classes again too. There are no prerequisite classes for this Manual Articular class so you can join it even if you have not studied with us before.
Listening 1 is also making a return to London January 2024. It is an amazing class for helping you secure your evaluation skills and allowing you to become sure of what you are feeling.
